Spring isn’t just the time for chocolate bunnies and deep cleaning. It’s time for planting seeds and all those metaphors that accompany new growth.
I recently attended a local city community gardening seed planting workshop. It was a classic rainy, cold spring day in Berlin, and as I arrived at the garden, I could see the surprisingly large group huddled under a white tent at the back of the raised garden bed boxes. There were about twenty-five participants and two gardeners explaining the different types of seeds and how to plant them for seedlings.
